THE CHALLENGE
Many church leaders have the passion to provide a space for families to equip children to become Christ-centered, God-honoring men and women empowered to fulfill their purpose in the world. Some of these churches do not have experience operating a school, funds to launch a school, or staff to work in the school. We've created a solution to overcome these challenges.
THE SOLUTION
In 2021, Empower College Prep began partnering with churches to provide a high-quality, tuition-free education to children from their congregation and community that aligned with the beliefs and values they shared. Empower provides the instructional team and program at no cost to the church and families, allowing the church to focus on its core mission while ensuring children are equipped to fulfill the purpose for which they were created.

Empower College Prep is a values-based, college-prep school founded in 2012 in the North Phoenix Baptist Church by Brian Holman, Secretary of the Diaconate and Chair of the Outreach Team. The school grew from 61 elementary students to 1,000 K-12 students in 2020 and built a campus across the I-17 from Grand Canyon University, which provides many of the school’s teachers and where many of the school’s graduates attend.
